Ekpemupolo is the best Chairman Warri South West has produced, Commissioner opines

The Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mr. Pat Mozeh has commended the pace of projects in Warri South West local government, even as he described Hon. George Ekpemupolo as the best Chairman the council has produced.

He made this known during a recent supervising tour to the council secretariat at Ogbe-Ijoh.

The Commissioner’s visit is aimed at ascertaining the state of infrastructural projects before the Governor’s expected commissioning.

While addressing staff of the local government council, the commissioner promised to address the issue of claims and staff welfare.

To show the state government’s commitment and believe in Hon. Ekpemupolo’s administration, Mr. Mozeh promised that the Governor will personally commission the projects. He said, ‘‘I think the Governor will be impressed and happy by the time I take back the findings of what I have seen today”.

On his part, the Chairman of the Council, Hon, George Ekpemupolo, thanked the Commissioner for choosing the council as his first port of call in his tour of local government councils in the State.

Among those in the Commissioner’s entourage are the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Chris Ika, Senior Director, Isaac Isibor and aides of the Commissioner.

High point of the visit was a guided tour round the secretariat complex.
