The Ethiope West Council boss gave the assurance Wednesday August 25 at the council secretariat during the presentation of a well equipped ambulance procured by Pan Ocean Oil Corporation for Ovade Clinic in Oghara.

He commended Pan Ocean for their support and assistance towards the effective running of the clinic and noted that the donation of the ambulance is a fulfillment of a two year promise. Dr. Omene who was represented by the Ethiope West Council Supervisor for Health, Mr. Excellence Ekiruo, described Pan Ocean as an outstanding organization, even as he solicited for more people oriented projects from the company.

Earlier in his remark, the Co-ordinator, External Relations of Pan Ocean Oil Corporation, Mr. Babajide Sangowawa, noted that the donation of the ambulance is his company’s way of showing “appreciation to Ovade Community for being good host”. While noting that Ovade is one of its major host communities, Mr. Sangowawa disclosed that his company is in the process of concluding the recruitment of a driver to man the ambulance. He promised regular maintenance of the ambulance by his company and appealed to the people of Ovade to put the ambulance in good use.

It will be recalled that Pan Ocean Oil Corporation in collaboration with its Joint Venture partner, NNPC, recently handed over 174 Open Market Stalls as well as a rehabilitated science laboratory to some Delta and Edo communities.
