Why Deltans must support Uduaghan’s return bid – Dolor

By: Tonebsky Nesta

The member representing Olodi/Okpeki ward in Warri South legislative Arm, Hon. Stephen Dolor says the manner with which Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has consolidated the peace initiative of ex Governor James Ibori in the state, particularly in the Warri area as well as his effective management of the dwindling monthly revenue allocation occasioned by the global recession in executing people oriented projects across the state are enough reasons why Deltans should support the Governor’s return bid come 2011.

Hon. Stephen Dolor who was the immediate past Supervisory Councilor for Education in Warri South local government noted that the recent disbursement of fund to all those affected by the 2007 electoral violence that occurred in Okere Urhobo community in Warri South local government during the gubernatorial poll will go a long way in assuaging the pains of indigenes of the community as well as underscores the Governor’s detribalized posture. According to the lawmaker, Dr. Uduaghan is a stabilizing factor in Delta politics and should be given another mandate to improve on his laudable health, agricultural, educational, power generation and distribution as well as infrastructural programmes. He posited that all those still canvassing politics of bigotry and blackmail should put away issues that tend to threaten our collective goal as a state and support Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to enable him meet the yearnings of Deltans. The lawmaker while commending the Warri South Council boss, Hon. Mofe Edema for his development strides, also joined the increasing call by President Goodluck Jonathan to vie for the 2011 presidency.
