GCCA celebrates harvest

The God’s Covenant Christian Assembly (GCCA), Asheshe Street off Jakpa Road, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria recently celebrated her 2010 harvest tagged *Harvest of Abundant Dispensation*.
Addressing the congregation, the General Overseer and Founder of GCCA, Rev. Fred Konavwose Arutere reminded Christians that harvest is worth doing and that the only way to become rich and successful in life is by giving out.
Rev. Arutere stated emphatically that whatever you give to God must be multiplied by God Himself. He added that many people could not progress beyond the positions they are because they deliberately refused to give out.
The General Overseer disclosed that if a pastor eats your money unnecessarily, he will account for it but the giver will be blessed stating that America is the most popular country in the World today because America gives out and that made the country to be blessed abundantly by God.
The Man of God made it clear that whatever you sow is not for the harvest, but the seed itself creates the harvest. Consequently, he called on Christians to note that they must give in order to get by quoting various chapters of the Holy Bible off hand to the admiration of guests to support his statement.
Earlier in an address, the Vice Chairman of the ceremony, Pastor Kayode Obuhoro on behalf of the Chairman, Elder (Barrister) Solomon Ogbeya appealed to guests to contribute financially and morally to enable the Ministry lay its foundation gallery.
His words “This Ministry cannot remain at this particular stage after the harvest because the foundation gallery shall be laid”. As a result, he passionately appealed to guests to contribute meaningfully, immensely, and tangibly to enable the church accomplish the project at hand.
Concluding, the Vice Chairman assured guests that as they contribute towards the development of the Ministry, they will make tremendous progress in life and God will replenish them in million folds.
Various groups in the church, students at all levels, workers and businessmen danced to the altar with different gift items, The exhibition of professionalism and excellence of the Ministry’s choir added glamour and colour to the activities.
Personalities that graced the occasion among others include Hon. Justice Akpofure Andrew Onojovwo, Judge of the High Court Oleh, Delta State, His Worship, Pastor Aghogho Atumah of the Effurun Magistrate Division, Mr. Steve Ejitagha, Pastor and Mrs. Kess Esin. Charles Ikedikwa Soeze, a mass communication scholar and Chief Officer (Administration) at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun.
