Ifie-Kporo Leadership Tussle: Omadeli, Nikoro commend Warri monarch for endorsing their exco

Members of the Charles Omadeli led Executive Trust of Ifie-Kporo Community in Warri South local government have commended the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II for giving royal blessing and authority to their leadership.

Speaking exclusively to Fresh Angle in Warri, Prince Charles Omadeli and Mr. Gbesimi Nikoro, Chairman and Secretary respectively, averred that the letter of authority signed on behalf of the Olu by Secretary to the Palace, Mr. J.E. Ajiyen has further given credence to their leadership which “has the backing of majority of indigenes”.

They advised corporate bodies, government agencies and parastatals as well as individuals doing business in the community or intending to do so to disregard earlier publications by a group of persons claiming to enjoy the support of indigenes of the community, even as they warned members of the public not to have any land dealings with anyone who is not a member of the 9-man Executive Trust.

The letter which is dated October 29, 2010 copied key security, community, government agencies as well as corporate bodies in the area.

Other members of the 9-man Executive Trust are: Victor Edori, Vice Chairman, Monday Agbeyi, Secretary, Clement Ebosa, Assistant Secretary, Clifton Edema, Treasurer, Jemirieyigbe Ukudano, Financial Secretary, Bright Eyinsan, Assistant PRO and Agnes Akpoyi, Woman Leader.
