The junior arm of College of Commerce Old Students Association (COCOSA) has pledge to enroll Miss Ada Elizabeth in the senior secondary school certificate exam to be held later this year, just as the young catholic students fellowship emerged winners of the inter club/class quiz competition 2010.

The finals of the inter club/class quiz competition saw the young catholic students fellowship scored 54 points while SS II A/B scored 43 points.

The event which held at the premises of College of Commerce in Warri had the principal of the Institution, Mrs. Margaret Okiemute Nikoro calling on students to take their studies seriously in order to be successful.

Mrs. Nikoro also reminded Miss Ada Elizabeth that the offer to the enrolment of SSCE by the COCOSA will only remain valid if she does not change from the school or enroll in another school.

While thanking the Executive of College of Commerce Old Students Association Junior, Mrs. Nikoro called on old students who are not members of the association but are successful to always remember their almamater as the College is in dire need of a standard library and renovation of its class rooms.

She used the medium to call on the executive of COCOSA, politicians and government at all levels to assist the Institution in its area of needs.

The principal also commended old students like the former speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. J.F.K. Omatsone and Hon. Omawumi Udoh for contributing to the development of the Institution. This she said is worthy of note and urged others to emulate them.

Mrs. Nikoro also blamed the poor reading culture of Nigerians on corruption, negative use of the internet, not being able to read newspapers and listen to radio and television news.

The chairman of College of Commerce old students association, Mr. Charles Orhekivwri had earlier challenged students to make good use of the opportunity they have academically to become great.
