Lawmaker lauds Oritsejafor’s election as CAN National President

The member representing Warri South Constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Mrs.) Omawumi Udoh has lauded the election of current President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as the new national President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

Speaking exclusively to Fresh Angle in a telephone chat, Hon. Udoh who is the Chairman, House Committee on Environment in Delta State House of Assembly described the election of Pastor Oritsejafor as symbolic and a sign of greater things to come for Delta State and South South geopolitical zone in general. The lawmaker who is the initiator of the bill that led to the creation of Delta State Waste Management Board declared that Oritsejafor’s ascendancy to National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and now CAN National President should not be seen as a surprise considering the innovations Pastor Oritsejafor has brought to the PFN as well as his human capital development programmes in Delta State and the nation at large.

She enjoined the new CAN President to use his new position to further strengthen the prevailing peace in the country as well as redouble his efforts at putting a final stop to re-curing ethno-religious conflicts in parts of the country.
