The traditional marriage/solemnization of Holy Matrimony between former Miss Toritsetse Aforijuku, daughter of Rev. G.O.T. Aforijuku, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Ogidigben as well as Proprietor of Christian Day Schools, Ugbori-Warri and Mr. Toritseju Oghomoghobone on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th July 2010 was a ceremony to be remembered with the Itsekiri traditional attire fully displayed together with the presence of members of the Baptist Convention, family members of both parties, friends and well wishers.
The traditional marriage which held at Rev. G.O.T Aforijuku’s residence beside the Unity Baptist Church Warri, also saw senior clerics from the Baptist convention arrested Rev. G.O.T. Aforijuku for daring to put on coat on the wedding day of his daughter.
However, the wedding took place at the Unity Baptist Church, Ugbori -Warri after Rev. Aforijuku was released few minutes later.
The climax of the colourful ceremony was a reception which held at the popular Otonloye hall, Ugbori -Warri.
