Warri South West Council Boss restates commitment to grassroots development

The Chairman of Warri South West local government, Hon. George Ekpemupolo has reassured people of the local government that his administration is committed to grassroots development, just as he promised them of more projects and good policies.

Hon. Ekpemupolo gave the assurance during the inauguration of a new executive of Diebiri-Batan community in Warri South West recently.
The Council Boss also called on the community leaders in the council area to cooperate with his administration towards ensuring that peace reigns in all parts of the area.

He added that the local administration of communities at the grassroots level is the component of peace and security agenda of the Uduaghan administration.
Hon. Ekpemupolo who was represented by Chief Favour Izukumor, the Electoral Committee Chairman for the Diebiri-Batan Community Executive, urged the new Chairman, Mr. Alexander Ebi Fenimini to work closely with the council authorities to ensure that all programmes and policies of the Uduaghan administration to ensure peace and security are carried out in the community.

In his response, the Chairman, Diebiri-Batan Community, Mr. Fenimini promised to carry the people of the community along in all activities of his new executive.

The new Chairman also promised to work for peace and security with neighbours of Diebiri-Batan Community which according to him is in line with the peace and security agenda of the Uduaghan administration.
Diebiri-Batan community is one of the most peaceful communities in Warri South West local government area.
