Newly elected Chairman of Warri South Chapter of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr. Brown Ajagba says his emergence signal the death of Peoples Democratic Party in the three Warri Councils.

Addressing party members after his emergence as the party leader in the council after a keenly contested election at the local government congress of the party, Mr. Ajagbe charged the electorates in Warri South to come out enmass and register in the forthcoming voter registration exercise to enable them cast their votes during the general elections, even as he urged them to ensure that their votes count in the just concluded re-run election.

Mr. Ajagbe while admitting that the task ahead of the party is daunting, charged the elected members to seat up, even as he called for their support and understanding as a house divided against itself cannot stand.

The exercise which was witnessed by INEC officials, State Security Service agents and journalists took place at the Alfred Rewane Hall, Angle Park, Warri.

Other members of the 20 man executive are Emmanuel Oyovwhigho, Secretary, Tony Ogbodu, Publicity Secretary, Jemide Atie, Legal Adviser, Louis Eboh, Youth leader and Hon. Akonte Ewowo, Women Leader.

Chairman of the congress electoral committee, Comrade Amaechi Ogbonna was assisted in the conduct of the election by party leaders like Prince Austin Oribioye and Senior Apostle Yemi Omaghomi to ensure a successful election.
