Submit your lives to God, Women group counsels inmates of Warri Prison

From: Warri
By: Omonigho Matthew

The Warri Prisons Chapel of Total Woman Fellowship has called on prison inmates to submit their hearts fully to Jesus Christ in order to be free spiritually and physically.

Leader of the fellowship, Mrs. Tase Odibo who spoke on the topic “Are you really free?” When the Total Woman Fellowship paid an evangelical visit to inmates of the Warri prisons, said knowing Jesus is when a man knows real freedom.

She drew her major text from John 8:31- 42. Mrs. Tase Odibo urged the inmates to receive the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives, adding that knowing Jesus is not enough but what matters most is receiving Him. She said if the inmates must be free from poverty, gossips, unforgiveness, malice, greed and selfishness among others, they must submit their lives totally to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaking in the same vein, Pastor Patrick Oghenekaro told the inmates to learn how to pray more consistently in their private time. He reminded them that victory is sure if they pray, noting that it is the only way to leave the Warri prisons the way they came.

The fellowship later presented items such as sanitary pads, packs of toilet soap, detergents, tooth brushes, tooth pastes, toiletries as well as bathroom slippers.

Responding on behalf of the inmates, Moses Ageda prayed God to replenish the purse of members of Total Woman Fellowship for their kind gesture.

He declared that the prison inmates came into the Warri prisons for reformation but has met transformation courtesy of the group.

Present at the evangelistic visit were top echelons of the Nigerian prison service.

Fresh Angle can report that the Total Woman Fellowship made provision for 530 inmates of the Warri prisons to benefit from what looks like yuletide largesse.
