A retired medical practitioner, Dr. Frank Ofili says it is a misnomer for President Goodluck Jonathan to kneel before the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, just as he described Pentecostal Churches in Nigeria as a problem to the President.

Dr. Frank Ofili who is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Forum for Justice and Human Rights Defence (FJHD) and a member of the Rosicrucian order said going to Pastor Adeboye for prayers by the President or any governorship aspirant does not make anyone a better president or better governor. In his word, “I was embarrassed when I saw on television the other day when the President knelt down before Adeboye for prayer”.

He said the new church in Nigeria has made the Nigerian youths lazy as they no longer want to work but only believing in miracle, noting that faith without work is fruitless. According to him, instead of going to work you see people carrying bible during work hours inside churches. What for? He queried.

Dr. Frank Ofili who alleged that he is currently being disturbed in his abode by a particular church with their horn speaker, said he brought the issue to the knowledge of the church with the hope that it will be properly handle. He alleged that instead of getting a positive response, what he got from the church was an increase in the number of their horn speakers channeled to his abode.

He pointed out that there are nine churches in his street yet crime is still on the increase.
